St. Dominic School 2023-2024

Dress Code

Simple and practical clothing, including necessarily:

▪︎ Skirts or dresses (with long or short sleeves), in the following colors: blue, dark green, gray, brown, beige, discreet plaid, or discreet print for summer, of classical A-line cut or pleated, ample, without slits, which cover the knee when seated.

Each girl, 4th and up, must have the “Dominique” navy skirt from academictradcat.com.  

                                        Each girl, 3rd and down, must have the "Siena" navy jumper from academictradcat.com.

▪︎ All girls must have a white blouse and a navy sweater, available at academictradcat.com.

▪︎ White or discreetly colored blouses; pullovers and other sweaters of sober form and colors.  

▪︎ For reasons of decency and hygiene, we require that a white, cotton full slip or half slip and undershirt be worn.

▪︎ Flat, classical school shoes (leather Oxfords or Mary Janes, for example) or fisherman sandals 

▪︎ White, navy, or other discreet colored knee socks or fold-down bobby socks (must cover ankle entirely), or tights  

▪︎ Two long-sleeved navy blue smocks available at academictradcat.com.

▪︎ The “Veritas” beret (available from St. Dominic School) 

▪︎ Coats or jackets of discreet colors

For Physical Education (2nd grade and up):

▪︎ A navy blue skort, ample and to the knee, available from academictradcat.com or St. Dominic School.

▪︎ A loose-fitting white or navy blue polo shirt

▪︎ Tennis shoes or sneakers (discreet colors)

▪︎ Sturdy white or navy blue tights, if necessary, in winter

▪︎ St. Dominic School P.E. bag (available from St. Dominic School)

ALL ARTICLES OF CLOTHING MUST BE LABELED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME.
